Do you trust your pup…
-
Does your pup pull you around or lunge for food scraps in the street? Do cars or strangers make them nervous?
-
How does your pup do when you're away? Do they need frequent bathroom breaks or some extra play time?
-
Does your pup get excited at the sight of another dog? Nervous? Can they initiate play or walk away without getting in a fight?

As pup parents ourselves, we know that training a dog can be difficult or frustrating at times. Moreover, we know there can be a lot of misguided judgment and shame in the dog training world. We offer education and training opportunities for humans and their pups without shame. That’s why our dog training approach is built on two fundamental beliefs:
1. All humans want what is best for their pups and are making the best decisions they know how to make at any given time.
2. Dogs are independent creatures that have evolved beside humans to problem-solve and communicate with each other. With clear communication and kind leadership, dogs will make the best decisions they know how to make.
We cater our training to the specific needs of each dog and their human. That means that no two training curriculums will be exactly the same. Much like humans, dogs have different learning styles. So each training session is dynamic and adjusted to your dog's learning style. Similarly, everyone's lifestyle calls for different boundaries and expectations. We help you figure out what those boundaries and expectations are and show you how to reinforce them.
Using a holistic and multi-pronged approach, we help you manage environments and design routines to reinforce those boundaries and expectations. Just like your bedtime routine includes brushing your teeth, your pup’s doorbell routine might include going to their place before greeting visitors. Imagine what your relationship with your dog could be like!

Meet Our Dog Trainer
Tiffany Boyden
Dog Emotion and Cognition Certified, Duke University
If you know Tiff, you know she’s so much more than a ‘dog trainer.’ Tiff is, what those in the industry call, a “dog behaviorist.” That means that she helps you understand and address the root causes of your pup’s quirkiest behaviors. Yes, she can teach your dog to sit and stay, but she can also help your pup learn that they don’t need to be afraid of cars or how to politely greet guests. Because her training methods are based on LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) standards, you can rest assured your pup will never be over handled or scared into submission.
